From November 9–10, EDUtech Asia 2022 brought together thousands of delegates from the education and training sector at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore to learn and exchange ideas, and be inspired by thought leaders in the education industry.
Located at Basement B Hall D Booth G31, Silversea Media had a large format stand to enable the delivery of product presentations and live demonstrations.
The rolling VR demonstrations kept the crowd engaged as we met some amazing people, learned about their education system’s needs, and talked with educators about how our immersive solutions can be used to create a more impactful learning experience.
Under our hallmark banner, “Transform Teaching & Learning with Immersive Technology,” we offered EDUtech Asia 2022 visitors a compelling opportunity to enhance their understanding of immersive media, in particular, this novel technology’s significant contribution to the development of modern education.
During the two busy days, we were able to attract avid interest from crowds of EDUtech attendees, and we promoted some of our state-of-the-art immersive educational solutions, such as:
VRealab, Silversea Media’s unique immersive virtual laboratory, which lets students perform true-to-life lab experiments, and practice their skills in a fun and risk-free web3D/VR learning environment.
Virtual Campus, Silversea Media’s virtual campus solution for schools and/or campuses to create an immersive interactive virtual walkthrough of their physical learning space, such as classrooms or building facilities. It helps schools promote their strengths and leave a lasting impression on prospective students.
Metaverse Learning Space, a ground-breaking learning platform that goes beyond the 2D world. It provides a customizable 3D learning space for enhanced connectivity, engagement and collaboration. Educators and students are able to access it from anywhere at any time via a browser.
We also introduced our Customized AR/VR Content solution that facilitates real-life and essential logic learning that feels to students more like fun than work. Our innovative AR/VR content selections were designed to help to raise engagement and increase knowledge retention for students of all ages. In addition, schools can build their own immersive learning materials for their classroom and teaching needs.
For example, our VR Cleaning & Disinfection course provides learners with training and assessment in procedures related to cleaning and disinfecting a room, complete with detailed instructions. Another example is VR Medical, a custom educational solution that allows students to immerse themselves in a surgical experience from a first-person perspective without being present in the operating room.
In all, EDUtech Asia 2022 was very successful. We appreciate teaching professionals and education foundation administrators who came to experience firsthand Silversea Media’s metaverse solutions, all keen on observing for themselves the new possibilities immersive technologies offer for modern educational practices.
